David Szymakowski is a husband and father from the Midwestern region of the United States of America who spends his free time snowmobiling, tinkering with electronics, or spending some time in the garage enjoying classic muscle cars.
Since the fall of 2007 David has worked as a sales application engineer at JM Grimstad. J.M. Grimstad, Inc. is a stocking distributor representing hydraulic, pneumatic, filtration, automation, and structural framing components. Grimstad is also a systems integrator with internal design and manufacturing capabilities. David’s primary task at Grimstad is the electrical design, layout, and programming of control systems. Grimstad has expanded David’s control knowledge to include Delta Motion Controllers, Suaer Danfoss Plus +1 Controls, as well as Eaton/Cutler Hammers line of HMIs and PLCs.
In the fall of 2006 David established Docavedia Information Services LLC. Docavedia was created as a formal platform for the freelance web design services already being providing. Since it’s inception it has grown into a steady side business for him. David has been active in web design since the early 90’s when he launched his first site Midwest Street Machines, a Milwaukee,WI based online Muscle Car Community. Most of the CSS, XHMTL, Javascript, PHP and MySql experience he possesses was self taught. He continuously strives to improve his knowledge of Web Standards and ‘better’ Web Design practices.
From the summer of 1994 until the fall of 2007 David worked for the Oilgear company in the Electrical Systems Engineering group. The primary focus of the work performed at Oilgear was again the electrical design, layout, and programming of control systems. Over his 13 year career at Oilgear David worked with Allen Bradly, Modicon, and Siemens PLC for machine control solutions. In the HMI (Human Machine Interface) side of the fence David worked with Allen Bradly panelview classic, RSView 32, and Wonderware.
